On the Hill Gradina, visitors will find a still remarkable discoveries of the ancient Roman settlement called Colentum. Due to its geographical location as well as the preserved historical architecture, Betina is considered as one of the most beautiful places on the Croatian Adriatic coast. The main beach of Murter is named Slanica and considered to be one of the most beautiful and the most visited beaches of the island. Due to its shallow waters, the Beach also for children and non-swimmers to the recreation is suitable.
